Shane Inocencio is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Genetica Medical. He provides primary care services to patients across their lifespan, though has a particular interest in Adult 2SLGBTQAI+ Health and Sexual Health.

Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Shane received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McMaster University. His nursing career has given him handsome experience working in Emergency Departments, Intensive Care Units and Post-Anesthesia Care settings across Canada. After years of gaining a diverse set of clinical skills and experience, he went on to obtain his Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner Degree from the University of British Columbia.

Outside of work, Shane enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling to new countries, and spoiling his dog, Carson. As a doctor, he believes in fostering person-centered, therapeutic relationships with patients. He always strives to empower them through collaborative decision-making regarding their diverse individual health and wellness needs.
